New building EDITION DA30
With EDITION DA30 we have designed an elegant residential building in representative villa architecture. The new building was created in a quiet villa district in Nymphenburg, just a few minutes' walk from Canaletto and the Nördliche Auffahrtsallee, and purposefully combines contemporary construction with stylistic elements of 19th century villa architecture.
Close to the gates of Nymphenburg Palace, only a few minutes' walk from Canaletto and the Nördliche Auffahrtsallee, we have built an elegant multi-family villa with four residential units. The quiet residential quarter around the Neuwittelsbach castle roundel is one of the most sought-after residential quarters in the city. It stands out due to its prestigious buildings, some of which are listed villas, and is characterized by spacious gardens, which lend the villa district its very special charm.
With EDITION DA30 we have designed a contemporary residential building in representative villa architecture. The new building interprets the dimensions, proportions and character of the historic building with modern means and combines them with stylistic elements of 19th century villa architecture. These include the mansard hipped roof typical of the surrounding area, an elaborate façade structuring with a completely encircling classical cornice, finely structured manufactured wood windows with elegant, slender frames, and handcrafted railings designed by our architects. Unlike traditional construction, the windows were designed to be floor-to-ceiling to allow more sunlight to flood the living spaces.
One of the special features of this elegant new-build property is its distinct garden character: on the north-west side, the property opens up to an unobstructed park with purposefully positioned balconies and loggias. The penthouse apartment also has an exclusive rooftop terrace, which offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the surroundings and is equipped with connections for an outdoor kitchen. Connections for a free-standing outdoor kitchen have also been prepared in the spacious garden: A covered loggia offers space for communal barbecue evenings and invites to let the evenings end comfortably with sun and a glass of wine.
